Surf SUP Models
It is this simple. NO other American Made SUP manufacturer puts as many resources towards building SUP Surf models than East Coast Paddle. Our team riders pretty much win every major contest on the East and West Coast, our shapers rip shortboards, longboards, and SUPs, and even our sales/marketing/finance team competitively compete. We know SUP Surf!
Stallard: This is a great beginner Surf SUP but don’t let that make you think it is not a high performance board. It is built to be the equivalent of a high performance traditional longboard. You can walk the nose and do helicopters on it as you progress. [more]
Hybrid: It is a combo board for flatwater and surf. Primarly flatwater but with the diamond tail and surf oriented shape it works great on smaller mushier waves. [more]
Lancer: This SUP is great for beginners. It is super stable and still turns in the pocket. [more]
Cruiser: This Stand Up Paddleboard is built specifically for flat-water but it can still be surfed like a traditional longboard. Incredibly stable and lots of volume for the bigger riders. [more]
Cruiser: This Stand Up Paddleboard is built specifically for flat-water but it can still be surfed like a traditional longboard. Incredibily stable and lots of volume for the bigger riders. [more]
HPS: This board combines stability with tail release. It is for the individual ready to go to the next level in SUP Surf. [more]
Also, the Whatley, Stallard and Lancer are considered Intermediate Surf Stand Up Paddle Boards
G2: This is the board our team riders are riding. Much thinner and narrower at the wide point so not as stable as the others. However, you can ride it like a traditional shortboard and you will blow minds with what you can do with it. [more]
Also, the Whatley and HPS considered Advanced Surf Stand Up Paddleboards
Flat-water SUP Models
Proven designs based on our Eco-Tour/Lessons/Rentals Services experience. We take thousands of paddlers a year into our local estuaries and beaches. This feedback allows us to make refinements in our designs instantly and apply to the very next board built. The overseas boards leadtime for a new model is 18 months.
True Flat-water SUPs
Hybrid: It is a SUP combo board for flatwater and surf. Primarily flatwater but with the diamond tail and surf oriented shape it works great on smaller mushier waves. [more]
Cruiser: This Stand Up Paddleboard is built specifically for flat-water. Glide, carrying capacity, and stability are the maine attributes of our flagship board. Incredibily stable and lots of volume for the bigger riders. [more]
Slab: The ultimate in stablility and carrying capacity. Basically the Cruiser on 'roids'. The Slab was designed with fishing in mind but works great as a 'big guy' stand up paddle board as well. [more]
Carlin Race Series: 12'6 and 14' rocket ships on the water. Designed by Glen Carlin; race yacht designer and SUP enthusiest.
Surf SUPs that Work Great in Flat-water
Stallard: Due to its traditional longboard design, the Stallard model has plenty of stability for the flat-water folks under 200lbs. [more]
Lancer: Originally designed as a beginner to intermediate Surf SUP. It has turned out to be one of the favorites for the ladies in flat-water. Super stable and light.
